It was the early 90′s. Cebu was recovering from the wrath of a super typhoon that destroyed homes, lives, and infrastructure. Many thought that it would take years for Cebu to be able to get back on its feet. But sooner than expected, the province welcomed Jollibee and McDonald’s and giant mall chains Gaisano Country Mall, SM City Cebu, and Ayala Center Cebu.
